There is a wise one buried within you, and it is time for them to rise.
This transformational breathwork ceremony will take you on a journey past old stones and beneath the roots of ancient trees. You will hear the galdr cry and feel the steady beat of the drum.
Like the norns who weave the fate of the world, breath, music and ancient lore are woven together in this guided practice to reconnect to the wisdom of our hearts and release that which is no longer serving us.
Embrace your inner shield-warrior, and answer the call.
What we will do:
We open with guided meditation, shaking and short vocal activation exercises to ground ourselves in the here and now. Then we will transition to lying, where you will be guided through a 50 minute breathwork practice inspired by Scandinavian and Celtic mythology.
We close with a sharing circle, and maybe learn a song or two!
What you will take away:
Breathwork journeys are different for everyone.
What is Transformational Breathwork?
Transformational breathwork is a powerful practice that can help to shift stuck and stagnant emotions. Through continuous, cyclical breath, we flush the body with oxygen, and open new pathways for thoughts and knowing to flow. The experience will be different for everyone, usually get what you need in the moment.
BENEFITS:
Who should not practice?
Who should not breathe: if you are suffering from clinical depression, PTSD, or other mental health disorder, breathwork might not be the ideal practice for you. Can trigger strong emotions. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!
